Founder story
Fernando Sanchez — Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Fernando Sanchez began his career offshore, working survey and installation campaigns across the Atlantic and West Africa before moving into route engineering and project delivery. Two decades at sea and in the design office convinced him that the industry needed a contractor able to own the whole lifecycle of a system — study, permitting, lay, protection, monitoring and repair — rather than hand clients between suppliers at every phase.
He founded Greendreams in Los Angeles in 2009 with a small survey team and a simple standard: nothing goes in the water that the engineering has not fully justified. That standard shaped the company's burial methodology, its reef-sensitive landfall practice and its insistence on 24/7 in-house monitoring rather than outsourced alarms.
Today Fernando leads a global organisation delivering across seven regions, and still personally chairs the technical review for every deep-water campaign the company undertakes.

Operations Director
Sarah keeps the global fleet moving. She spent twelve years with a major subsea contractor before joining Greendreams, running vessel mobilisation, logistics and offshore schedules across the Atlantic, West Africa and Southeast Asia. At Greendreams she owns the operations plan, delivery performance and client-facing progress reporting for every campaign.
Technical Director
Elena leads route engineering, wet plant design and the technical review of every deep-water system. A marine geophysicist by training, she has directed survey and burial campaigns in water depths beyond 4,000 metres and sits on the technical committee that reviews each project before it enters the water.
Engineering Manager
Lukas heads burial, protection and landfall civils engineering. From crossing design to reef-sensitive shore-end routing and post-lay verification, his team makes sure the cable survives the seabed it is asked to sit on. He also runs the graduate engineering rotation programme.
Projects Manager
Priya is the single point of accountability for turnkey delivery. She manages permitting, procurement, work-stream interfaces and milestone reporting from first concept to provisional acceptance. Her background in infrastructure finance helps clients and lenders stay aligned on schedule and budget.
Marine Operations Lead
Marc directs offshore crews, ROV intervention and emergency repair mobilisation. He has spent more than 8,000 days at sea on cable ships and offshore support vessels, and he leads the 24/7 repair standby protocol that keeps our clients inside contract response windows.
