Fernando Sanchez
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Fernando Sanchez began his career offshore, working survey and installation campaigns across the Atlantic and West Africa before moving into route engineering and project delivery. Two decades at sea and in the design office convinced him that the industry needed a contractor able to own the whole lifecycle of a system — study, permitting, lay, protection, monitoring and repair — rather than hand clients between suppliers at every phase.
He founded Greendreams in Los Angeles in 2009 with a small survey team and a simple standard: nothing goes in the water that the engineering has not fully justified. That standard shaped the company's burial methodology, its reef-sensitive landfall practice and its insistence on 24/7 in-house monitoring rather than outsourced alarms.
Today Fernando leads a global organisation delivering across seven regions, and still personally chairs the technical review for every deep-water campaign the company undertakes.
